Toddlers and TV

Hey mommas!

I was wondering how many of you don’t allow your toddlers to watch tv?

My daughter is 19 months and in the beginning I didn’t mind having her watch tv, mainly because she didn’t care or paid attention. Now that she’s more aware and pays more attention, I cut tv out because the pediatrician recommended no tv before 2 years. But I’m having a hard time with that. Recently I’ve been allowing her to watch nursery rhyme shows and occasional movies. I think it helps with her learning and she participates with the activities she sees.
