Is anyone actually ugly?
This is actually spurred by my husband and I discussing “ugly babies.” Would we be blinded by bias because our child is ours? Or would we be willing to admit “that’s an ugly kid.”
Are there certain features that are inherently less beautiful than others or do we make group-consciousness choices that get passed down and pervade through society? Is beauty defined by the times/the culture we live in?
