Depo shot sucks

Okay so I got my first shot exactly 3 months ago and I was supposed to go get my second today, but oh hell no. I refuse to ever use depo again. I just got done bleeding for 3 weeks straight, and I’m still spotting. I’ve been in excruciating pain since I started bleeding and the pain hasn’t stopped. I even went to the hospital for the pain. I’ve been extremely suicidal since getting the shot and can’t seem to shake this funk. Ya know, I heard that there would be some side effects but I didn’t expect to go through hell the last month of being on it.

Any recommendations for literally any other birth control? I’ve tried the pill but I’m stupid and can’t remember to take it everyday. 🙃
