Completely shaved or trimmed down there before sex?

Hi girls! I'm after some opinions on what you think is better in terms of the first time you have sex with someone. Iv recently started seeing this guy who is my friend and we dated when we was kids and have decided giving things another go now we are older. Im not sure whether going completely bald and him thinking hes shagging a child rather than a woman is the best way or a bit of hair just trimmed round the sides and in the flaps bit
