Silent carrier of alpha thalassemia
My anemia levels are low (7.5) and I was wondering if it could be cause by me being asilent carrier of alpha thalassemia. I was told with being a silent Carrier there is no symptoms. When I was in labor I lost to much blood in almost had to get a blood transfusion because of it. Can Silent carriers of alpha thalassemia get anemia from it?
