I know this is personal...but...??

I hate to ask this , but I need some answers...
Has anyone on here had their baby die of SIDS? If so can you tell me how , like what was the issue that led to that? 
I know this is personal! 
Edit : I know what all the internet sources say about SIDS , I’m looking for anyone who real life dealt with the actual experience. 🧐

A lot of the times, SIDS is usually from an internal factor. Like respiratory or something and not necessarily from external factors.

Sids can happen for no reason.  
Certain factors are thought to be the reason why, but it's mostly just some babys go into a deep sleep and just don't wake up. 
Other things like sleep apnea in the family are thought to be more likely, but it's never the parents fault.  
It's just something natural, horrible,  but natural.

They say it’s respiratory and if you possibly buy a humidifier they say it cuts the chances in half

My mother’s sister died of sids and I know a family friend who’s baby died of sids to.

Not letting your baby sleep on anything soft reduces the chances of SIDS. Their sleeping platform should be firm and they should lay flat. Not smoking around the baby reduces SIDS too, as well as not overdressing and overheating the baby.
