Did you go to college or drop out to be a SAHM?

I’m going to college for a year when I want to be a SAHM... I know my parents won’t approve so I’m going for a year then I’m going to be with my boyfriend. I’m just not sure if I continue on music Ed or just do generals... 
Thoughts? Please share your stories ❤️

Stay in college and get a degree. God forbid something happens to your bf and you don't have an education to fall back on.

I have a Master's degree and am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. 
I had no intention of staying home with my children and then when my second child was born I decided I was done being miserable and just put my two weeks notice in one day and stayed home. Luckily my husband supported that. I now work minimal hours helping out at the family business and I spend the rest of the time with my children. Work will be there one day if I want to go back. 😏

There needs to be more options on this post lol. I went to forge for two years and decided I no longer wanted to pursue my degree career. I met my husband and worked very happily as a nanny until we had children. I didn’t drop out to stay at home though.

I stayed in college. I’m a full time student with all A’s and on the Dean’s List, single mom and work part time.

That’s a horrible, horrible idea, but if you insist absolutely do not major. Do gen Ed’s so you can return with something to contribute to a degree in the future  but honestly, don’t start college with no intentions of finishing.

I would change majors- VERY few jobs in music education, I wouldn’t spend my money on that degree, especially if you’re considering dropping out for financial reasons

My mom forced me in college when my son was a few months old. I was right out of high school. She actually sat at a computer and signed me up. I couldn’t tell her I didn’t want to go. So I started and went for about a year and was so over it because I just wanted to be home with my baby and my family. I now have so many student loans! It’s so hard to go to college when you have a baby and you have a family.

I got my bachelors degree before I was pregnant but many girls I know continued their semester even after birth :) 
I’m planning on attending grad school this coming fall & I’m due in March. I figured it’d just be a waste if I didn’t at least finish my career 🙃 if you don’t want to be in school I love wouldn’t waste your money on it
