Hurt. need some advice?

okay. So I’m in 8th grade. And yea, middle school relationships never last long. And yea, it’s really stupid to even be in a commitment at such a young age. But every girl, deep inside their heart, are longing for someone to love them. Someone to hold them. Someone to feel what they feel. I’ve seen my classmates in “relationships” since the second grade. And I always hated watching them. But I just realized, I’ve had envy for that. My parents love me, my brother loves me, and heck, that should be enough. But truly, we, as teens and women, all want to have that someone out there that loves them and not by blood relation. Even if we don’t realize it or deny it. There’s that one single crack in our hearts, and we want it to be filled. I’ve joked around saying “I don’t need no manz. I’m a strong, independent, beautiful young women”... and it’s all true, and it’s all true for all women out there. It’s just the fact that we want to have that tingly sensation of love. Our hearts pounding like drums. That warm feeling in your body that you know no one can take away. But then again; we are afraid of getting hurt. Of finding something, and realizing that really, there was nothing ever there. And although I’m hurt atm, I want to let everyone know that you are the apple at the top of the tree. There are those that want to climb to the top, but too scared of falling. But then there are those who are willing to take the risk and climb all the way to the top for you. That is love. Maybe the right person just hasn’t come yet. But sometimes, we are just so tired of waiting, we get impatient and try to call the attention of someone who isn’t even trying and will only end up getting you hurt. I just want to let y’all know that there’s that special someone. And I’m not saying that you should stay put and wait, be you, express yourself, be true to your beauty, and learn from all of your experiences throughout your journey. Be you.
