Do any of your babies sucks his/her thumb? What do you do about it? My first didn’t

My first did and still does (turns 2 this week). This one sucks her thumb sometimes but mostly sucks her fingers. So far I have LOVED it because they can always find it in the middle of the night and have both been great sleepers. BUT... it sucks that you can’t take it away. My 2 year old is going to have a REALLY hard time stopping 😱

Mine tried to straight out of the hospital. I would gently remove her had and replace it with a paci. After seeing relatives that were allowed to way too long I decided I would not have a thumb sucker and I can take a paci away I can't take away their thumb

I let her. It's really not that hard of a habit to break if you actually do it early enough.

My almost 2 year old did and still does. She started at 2 months old. My 3 month old doesn't suck her thumb but she does munch on her hand alot. As for what I did/am doing about it? Absolutely nothing.

My almost 4 month old is sucking her hands non stop. I just ordered some teething mitts.

Yea she just started so I put her paci in her mouth and she’s fine. She only does it when she’s tired. Because she thinks I’m her paci I’m glad I found one she likes.
