Do ex’s always come back?

My ex and I recently broke up and the situation was very sudden. He went from being in love for 4 years to saying he fell out of love and wants to talk to other people. My aunt was saying give it a year and he’ll return and if he doesnt it wasnt love. And most of the people around me keep saying he’s going to regret his decision and want to come back. Not saying i’m waiting for his return but is that true?

when youre a good girl most of the time they all come back at some point or another lol.. every single one of my exs that fucked me over have always came back and still try to get back with me and havent moved on 10+ years later.. suckssss to suck cause im over them lol✌🏼

it depends I belive that timing plays a huge part .. life ... it's never personal .. and if they come back and the timing has past or still right who knows .. but it depends on the break up aswell .. if it was because he feels he dont want to settle down yet n talk to others that's timing .. he's just not ready and that's ok.. you will find someone who is .. or he could come back at the right timing you never no x

I was with my boyfriend for 7 years when he “fell out of love.” We were living together for 3 years. One day he randomly said he wanted to see other people. Within that same week before he even moved out, he was already taking another girl out on dates. 
I joined the Air Force about 10 months later and ended up getting stationed in a different state. It took about a year but he did message me and said he missed me but he had a girl friend and I wanted me to wait for him! How unfair is that for both me and the gf??
I ended up getting in a serious relationship and he got mad I didn’t wait. I married and haven’t heard from him in over two years. Haven’t seen him in almost three years.
