Navy/Military wifeys and girlfriends!! 💙

Hey ladies! My boyfriend is in the Navy and he’s going away for the first time in our relationship. He’s been in the Navy for 2 1/2 years but luckily he’s only been away once or twice and that was before we were together. He told me he’d be going away around a month ago (he leaves tomorrow for 2 months) and he’s been miserable about it. Now I know he likes going away because he loves his job and what he does - but we’re both struggling this time because I know I’ll miss him so much and it’ll be my first experience with having a man with a demanding job like this.

How do you ladies cope with your men being away? I know I’ll adjust to it over time and I’m sure the first time is the hardest but it just seems like it’s going to feel like a lifetime without him.
