My mental health story

I really want to share my mental health story. Its a lot of bad but also a lot of good, im just going to start at the beginning and really would appreciate no judgment because a lot of this is crazy.

To start i got married in June, my husband and i have been together for 3 years and it hasn’t all been rainbows and butterflies. A month before we got married i started to go down a really bad mental path. I started drinking a lot and was sleeping around. After my now husband, then fiancé found out(i told him), we both agreed it was time to see my therapist again. We all agreed it was cold feet for all the change which is something i dont handle well. I got a lot better and our wedding day was amazing! Jump forward to July 20th, things started to get bad again. The same pattern started happening except this time after i slept with someone i tried to kill myself. I tried to OD on one of my medications and my husband go home in-time and rushed me to the hospital. Neither one of us understood why this was happening to me, why i was so high on life then so down. The hospital decided it was good to admit me to the mental hospital, while their we found out i have manic bipolar-depression. What a life changer this has been. We found out that when i was in a manic i didn’t think about the consequences to my actions and the. I would start feel extremely depressed and want to kill myself. Now 6 months later my husband and i are in the best place we could ever be. I am so thankful i have a man in my life who can still stand next to me even after all i have put him through! This is my story, its a lot, iv done a lot i regret but i dont ever want to forget about it. This story is what makes me the person i am today. I am growing from my past mistakes.
