Native Names & Cultural Traditions

Hey mommas! I’m part Native American. Haida/Tlingit Native to be specific, Alaskan tribes. Anyways, I was curious how you have mixed in your heritage into your babies life. My Great Uncle helps with the tribal names of new babies. I don’t know the sex of my baby yet but we already have the Native name for our little one. Do you also get tribal names? Do you have other traditions? If so, how did you go about introducing your heritage into today’s world?
