Low milk supply I should give just formula or add the little milk I pump to my son bottle?

My son is a micro preemie baby 8 months old but will be  5 months adjusted January 1   
Give the little milk I pump with some water and formula. O just give formula in water ?

I also had a preemie and low supply. I would alternate bottle of formula with bottles of milk. I would save up enough pumps for a feed and then give him a formula bottle for the next one. At 5 months I was giving 2 bottles of milk and the rest formula.

No water on its own! Young babies can often not absorb it properly. Offer the expressed milk first, then top off with formula. Don't mix
