Could this be mastitis?

I’m new to this. My daughter is three weeks old and breastfeeding has been going great. But the past couple of days it really hurts to feed her and today I have flu like symptoms. I’ll go from hot to having the chills, I have a sore throat and my body just aches. Could it be mastitis? Should I call my OB?

Yes, sounds like you do. I just had it on Saturday, third time getting mastitis. What I’ve done was constantly pump and nurse my daughter on the boob that was red and had like a ball. After two days, it went away. I’m thankful I haven’t had to go to the doctor and get antibiotics. Also take a hot shower and massage your boob, that also helped. Good luck mama
