MIL 😡

My inlaws live 4 hours away so we only see them on holidays. They got here yesterday and are staying until Wednesday. Not even an hour into their visit and my mother in law said that I “looked fat at Thanksgiving” so she thought I might be pregnant again. I had my son 7 months ago and I’ve lost all the weight I gained, but my body just looks different after having a baby. It took everything I had to not break down and bawl like a baby in front of everyone. It was so humiliating. Why would someone say that? Now I have to bite my tongue until Wednesday and pretend that my feelings aren’t completely hurt.
