Do I turn his head?

I feel like I’m posting on here every day 😂 but I’m a new mom so forgive me! My son fell asleep just now in his swing & the position of his head doesn’t seem like it’s really safe/comfortable to me. But I’ve heard some say it’s fine to leave it and some say to move it. I’m scared to move it and he wake up but I also feel like it’s just gonna go back to that position anyways lol soooo do I move it or do I leave it?

I always fixed my baby’s head when she ended up like this. They spent months being all contorted but it won’t hurt to fix it

I used to straighten it but it would go back like that right away. Then I got a little cushion that keeps it straight from toys r us. It had a small one for when he was a newborn and a bigger one

I never bothered fixing it. They spent months curled up in these weird positions and they’re a lot more flexible than we are so what we perceive to be uncomfortable isn’t to them. I figured if it hurt he’d cry.

My son does this especially in his car seat. I fix it but he always moves it back 🤷

Maybe he’s getting more air that way than if his chin was to his chest? I know it can be dangerous if their chin is to their chest because they can not be getting enough oxygen.

Exactly why babies shouldn't be sleeping in swings, rock n plays, bouncers, etc. This is absolutely unsafe. I wouldn't just fix his head, I'd move him to a safe sleep space with a firm, flat surface.

Good chances this is just a comfort spot and this may have been how he kept his head in womb. The biggest worry is when they’re chin is to chest as it can cause breathing issues. Even at my 8 year olds age I still check to make sure her chin is to her chest 😂
