2 full periods in one month?

Question

Has anyone had 2 full periods in one month? I had a normal heavy period and then just 2 weeks after the start of that period  (so only 1 week after I stopped bleeding) I had another full period again with heavy bleeding for 7 days. This has never happened to me before.  I called my dr but no availability until next week. Has anyone had this happen and what was the cause?

Happened to me when I got my period back after being pregnant the first time. Then it happened again the first month we were TTC #2. Doctor just said it’s an off cycle, your body fixing itself out.

Before I got pregnant sometimes it would happen to me it would be my period changing so if I bled the 1st through the 5th and then again the 20th through the 24th then that would be when my next cycle for the next month started 
it could just be irregular bleeding but if your worried then yeah a doctors visit should help
