Giving baby Gatorade?

Question

So my son is sick with a stomach bug. We’re trying to keep him hydrated but this kid hates juice and refuses to even put the pedialyte to his lips. I will say I can’t blame him about pedialyte, I tried it and it tastes like swamp water. 
Can I give him some Gatorade if he’ll drink it? We’re in another snow storm so I don’t want him to get dehydrated and go back to the ER because roads are so bad. He’ll drink water here and there but not a ton. Still wet diapers every few hours so he’s not dehydrated but I don’t like playing risk.

I would dilute it with water since it has so much sugar. I agree with another poster - cold pedialite is much better than room temp. The flavor makes a big difference too.

How old is he? Giving the fact that you're giving water I'm assuming he's old enough. If so go ahead and try it. We  gave our son watered down Gatorade at 1 years old because he was sick. (We actually still water down his juice and he's two. He calls it wawa ju) 😂

Gatorade G2 has less sugar in it. When my little guy was in the er dehydrated he broke out in diaper rash with regular Gatorade and also refused Pedialyte the nurse said Gatorade G2 and I tried it he loved it and no rash so it was a win win

Also you could freeze Gatorade in a ice tray and let babe have that in a cup of water. So he gets the eletralytes and less sugar

Wish I knew the age but definitely fine to have it I think my son was at the ER last month with temp of 104 and they suggested that I give Gatorade to him and popsicles to stay hydrated also my son was 16 months old when they told me that though

How old? My doctor told me to give my son any liquid he would take when he was throwing up/ dehydrated. She recommended Gatorade if he would take it.

Did you try the pedialyte after putting it in the fridge? I know warm pedialyte is nasty, but it's better cold. If he still won't take it I would give him the Gatorade as long as he is old enough
