Sahms do you get yourself "ready" each day? As is out of pjs, hair done, etc?

I crack jokes with my husband all the time about how I was thankful he didnt expect me to get "put" together every day. I only get out of my pj's  to pick our oldest up from school. And by dressed its normally yoga clothes, hair in a pony tail and no makeup.

I don’t see a point in getting dressed unless Ive got somewhere to go. I shower and put clean pjs on 😂. I just hate jeans and pjs are so comfy.

My hair and makeup never get done, most days I get out of my pyjamas but that's about it.

Absolutely!!! 👌🏾 To each its own, but I'm not sitting around with PJs or just anything on. I'm getting fully dressed, put on jewelry, do my hair, etc. I do the same for my daughter. My friends would pick on me in college because I was one of few on campus who would dress up every single day lol. The only time I am dressed "down" is when I have on workout gear and as soon as I am done working out, I take a shower and then get fully dressed. That's just me. I do not look down on people who do not, but I am not sitting around with just anything on. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Most days, my daughter and I go out for something, but even on the day's we don't, I still get fully dressed and I get her fully dressed as well. You're also not going to catch me without my nails and toes done or my eyebrows lol. 🤷🏾‍♀️ That's just me. I guess you can blame my parents (my mom mostly haha) for making me this way. 😂 I understand being tired, but I have never been too tired not to look good. I even got fully dressed in the hospital when I had my daughter. My husband says I am just like his mom, which I can totally see lol. However, to each its on. Do whatever you want, whether it's get fully dressed or not.

Only when I leave the house or when I need to feel human again! There are definitely days I feel so numb from being a caregiver 24/7 in our one bedroom apartment that I got put on mascara and concealer just to remind myself what I used to look like

I shower every other day and put real clothes in every day and fix my hair every day. Often I do my makeup. I feel more like a real human when I wear jeans and a shirt instead of workout clothes. It also communicates discipline and self worth to my kids and if someone comes over I’m not embarrassed. I find huge value in getting ready each day instead of dressing like a college student haha. But to each their own!

I don't wear makeup but if there's people coming over I'll put jeans on. I do brush my hair and try to take a shower everyday but with a toddler and a one year old that's not easy. When I take my 12yr old to school since I don't get out of the car I'm still in pajamas.

I shower and change into a fresh t-shirt and sweatpants. I dress a bit nice if I’m going to leave the house but even then I don’t bother with makeup.

There was a point when I didn’t put on makeup for two weeks. Ha ha. I try to get ready when I can but usually don’t. 😂
