Is what I’m doing wrong and dishonest?

Question

My hubby is set on trying to conceive in April. He excited and really wanting kids. He mentioned if it happens and I get pregnant before April it’s okay. He has  no kids and I have one from a previous marriage and my daughter is now 10yrs. I personally know I have difficulty in pregnancy and don’t carry very well. My daughter Was born early only being about 3lbs. So,  I stopped taking my birth control without him knowing back in July and been actively trying having sex during my window and downloading this app. It’s been 5 months and nothing..... I feel bad cause l’m not be honest but I just don’t want to disappoint him this is stressful. He’s a good hubby I been truly bless having him as my king and I just want to give him the world. Is what I’m doing be dishonest and breaking the loyal code.

Thank you for the comments. Last night in bed we talked, telling him that after our miscarriage in July 2018 I never started up my BC. I informed my hubby i seen  how excited he was when I told him that I was pregnant back in 2018 and I wanted that again. I also told him that I felt dishonest due to the fact I was not straight forward about my BC and I knew April was the month that we wanted to start our journey together. As I was speaking to him last night in bed looking for disappointment In his eyes that I couldn’t find. He kissed me and said I only said April of 2019 cause I wanted to give you time to emotionally heal and your body to heal. If you feel your ready then I’m ready my hubby looked into my eyes. kissing me saying your heart is in the right place ....dishonesty wouldn’t be the right word in this case  your scared of disappointment and as long as we have us we are good. The stress that was lifted and my love couldn’t be any deeper for him. I wanted him  even more than ever if that was even possible. Thank you again for the comments.

Yes, you're wrong. He said April and you took it upon yourself to stop your BC without his knowledge. You could at least discuss these things with him and have his full knowledge AND consent.

It's dishonest but my word with all the judgemental women on here! I'm glad to read your hubby is understanding of why you did it because these women sure weren't. Have you talked to your gyno about your issues with pregnancy?

Yes it's dishonest and wrong. You stopped birth control without his knowledge. Time to tell him the truth. Trust is so incredibly important in a relationship.

Agreed with it being just as wrong as if you thought he was wearing a condom and he removed them before sex without telling you. There should be honesty in sex especially
