Rainbow Project

Just wanted to share with all the rainbow mamas! I had a miscarriage back in April and am now due with my rainbow baby in February!

I took part in an amazing project led by a local photographer called the Rainbow Project. This project brought together six amazing rainbow mamas to share their stories and raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss. So many women don’t talk about it and it’s time to end that stigma. The project involved two phases - a maternity photo shoot for the rainbow mamas and then an infant photo shoot with our rainbow babies once they are born! They will be swaddled in the colour of the rainbow that matches what their mama is wearing! ☺️🌈

As scared as I was to expose myself, I felt that by being a part of it, I could help other women who are going through pregnancy loss and hopefully give them hope. I am so honoured to have been a part of this project and am proud of myself for doing this. I feel it is a great way to honour my angel baby and my rainbow baby! ❤️
