Transitioning to crib?

Is your baby sleeping in their crib at night yet? My 11 week old still sleeps in a cosleeper with me and I’m so nervous to move him to his crib! He doesn’t sleep well if I’m not around 😅 I’m not sure how to transition. I’ve tried putting him in there for naps during the day and he wakes up right away.

My girl is three months old and has been in her crib since she was 6 weeks old. She’s basically been sleeping through the night since 6 weeks also. She only wakes once to eat anywhere between 4-6am and goes right back to sleep til after 11am when I wake her up. She slept 1030pm to 810am on Saturday. Longest stretch of sleep I’ve got so far lol

My baby would never nap well in her crib during the day but at 11 weeks, we transitioned her to her crib at night and she did so well ❤️ it’s harder on the mamas than the babes!  The first night is the worst and you’ll stare at the monitor all night but once you get used to it, you’ll sleep better and the baby sleeps better in the crib as well!  There’s no right or wrong time and you need to be ready to make the switch, if you’re not ready, just keep the baby in your room until you are!

I know they say back is best but try naps on the belly... my little one hated napping in the crib and would always wake up too till I tried her on her tummy and she would sleep so soundly. I would watch her like a hawk but once she got used to sleeping in her crib during the day, transitioning her to her crib for at night was easier. Then we would do naps on our tummy during the day and nighttime on her back.... until she started rolling. Now she rolls to her belly in the middle of the night. We leave her alone cause she likes it. We have the owlet so that helps me not worry as much.

Mine sleeps in a rock n play next to me, I breastfeed and sometimes she ends up asleep in our bed halfway through the night. I'm planning on moving to a crib around 4- 6 months, really depends on her.

We are still in her basinet. Im giving her another 2 months before we transition into a crib. Her basinet is still beyond big enough for her . She’s such a good sleeper ill be checking back on this post for advice transitioning lol

My LO will be sleeping in bed with me until she’s old enough to choose. If your baby isn’t sleeping without you yet maybe wait a bit longer.

Yup he’s been in his crib for about 2 weeks now because I was co-sleeping and didn’t realize how dangerous it was til we had a very scary incident. Babies will sleep wherever you put them, it just may take a bit longer to put them to bed.
