Did anybody get the mirena even though they haven’t had kids? How did the insertion go?
I’m switching from skyla to mirena because it’s the one I’ve always wanted but I’ve never had kids which is why the original doc I had was super adamant I get skyla instead. The doctor I have now says we can give mirena a try but warns me it might be more difficult and painful because I haven’t had children. She will prescribe me what I think is called “cytotec” to help make it go in easier. I didn’t have that last time nor did I take any pain killers so hopefully I’ll be ok...right?
