Help 😭 I'm anxious amd angry

So my boyfriend and I have been together for about 4 months and when we got together I went in knowing he had two children, I was okay with that, well I went to drop off his "best friends" birth certificate and when I went there she asked how things were and I said stressful.

So this bitch goes to him saying I told her the kids were stressful and disrespectful. I did not say that so we got into a pretty big fight about it, yes I'm stressed but it's mostly because I want them to like me you know? But now he's making seem like I want nothing to do with them, he didn't want me to carry the two year old, didn't want me to sit in the back with them so he did, just acting like I don't care about them at all. I'm 22, he's 21 the kids are 2 & 4

I truthfully am just confused and hate myself.
