Have you regretted a seperation/divorce

I continue to have problems with my husband of almost 9 years. Too many issues that never get resolved, the biggest one involving his constant intruding family (they help with our kids and live up the block from us so they are literally always over/ there are no boundaries and privacy- my husband sees nothing wrong with this) at this point I'm completely exhausted mentally and emotionally.

I am considering separation although it is giving me anxiety Bec I know it's going to hurt like hell. Plus we have two kids and I'm sure they will be affected too. Also Bec My husband is the one who's taken care of all the finances so I would be pretty lost with everything...

Has anyone gone through a separation? What was your experience like? Have you ever had thoughts of regret? Has it led to divorce or has it helped your marriage?
