Could I of missed my surge?

Question

Been using opk digital “ smiley” for last 3 months and happy face comes up on day 12. So last night was CD12 and I couldn’t test until 8 pm and negative where the other cycles I tested around 5:00 pm. Do you think since I tested later I missed my surge? I have EWCM and light cramping .

Usually surges last about 8-12 hours, so it’s unlikely
