Weird food tastes?

Is it just me, or does anyone else have this thing where food tastes...off?? I’m not nauseous, nothing is really bothering me, but a lot of things just taste bland. Metallic, almost.

I was helping my mom make mashed potatoes and as much as I love them I couldn’t get them right and they just continued to taste awful. No one knows I’m pregnant so I had to play it off like my allergies were affecting taste but it was really annoying😂 my first pregnancy, EVERYTHING smelt like dog. Other than bottled water and ice cream. I mean there were other foods I could eat and if I left my house I was fine for the most part. But tea or dinner i made would all just smell awful. We also didn’t have a dog at that time😂
