The NERVE

So, my DH has been out of work since November. The job he had was really seasonal, and the guy who hired him, basically lied about how much work it was. When it came down to it, the lead guy fired my DH to save his own butt. I don’t have an issue with him putting his family over ours. I’d probably do the same. But the fact that he lied about the job irritated me. ANYWAYS back to my main post haha so since he’s been searching for a job since basically November and had no luck, I finally just made an ad on FB, DH doesn’t have one, asking about any opening that weren’t necessarily on the job sites. I of course had some very helpful people, and then I had some judgmental a** people. 🙄

Oh, excuse me, my bad. Guess I should let my family starve. I forgot everyone else is perfect. I guess I should also let people walk all over us. What a good message to send to your kids. In case you didn’t catch in the post, we live in AK. Which is COMPLETELY different than the lower 48. Everyone knows the people in the town. We are new to the area. The fast food joints hire the high schoolers. They don’t have full time available, and won’t even give him the time of day as a part time. I’ve watching him go in place after place. I’ve watched him spend hours scrolling through job sites. He actually attempted a sales job for a while, and sales just aren’t for everyone. We moved and didn’t have time to get settled before winter. Which is VERY different up here. I’m glad you all have it figured out 🙄 I guarantee that if places where switched, you’d be right there with me. I hope y’all don’t ever have to struggle
