Blood clots 2 weeks PP?

I’m 2 weeks PP and I’m still passing small clots almost every time I go to the bathroom. They’re like pea sized. I’m also having slimy bloody discharge when I wipe and can feel it coming out when I am in the shower. Are these normal? I feel like by 2 weeks I shouldn’t be bleeding so much. It is turning dark brown now and not enough to soak a pad in an hour. Thanks in advance!

Pretty normal i had heavy bleeding for 6 weeks with my first and the just for 2 weeks with my second and now with this little guy I stoped heavy bleeding less then a week

Sounds normal. I was still bleeding and getting the slimy discharge well into 3 weeks PP. Now I’m 5 weeks PP and just have some yellow discharge but it’s almost gone.

I did some research into this because I was concerned as well. When I had my daughter, I pretty much stopped bleeding after a week or maybe a little over that but it was a relatively unremarkable experience. However this time, the bleeding is relentless with dark red blood and big clots. I started to get worried. What I found in my research was if you fill a pad in under an hour or pass a clot the size of a golf ball or larger, tell your doctor. Otherwise, it's normal for women to bleed for six weeks and some go even longer. 😬 So much fun.
