LADIES!! WHOS FAULT IS IT?! 🙄🙄

Question

If SHE puts a lid on a container so it doesn’t get dog hair or dirt in it BUT DOESN’T SCREW IT ON, just places the lid on the top of the container, and an hour later HE picks up the container by the lid and spills the container on the floor not knowing/checking that the lid wasn’t fully on. Who’s fault is it that the stuff in the container got spilled? 
This is the dumbest / childish thing ever but I have to know your opinions on this ladies.

Who checks if the lid is on all the way before picking up something? If the person putting on a lid wasnt too lazy to use the object properly then it wouldn't have to be checked.

Yes this is childish and immature as fuck. But I would say the person who didn’t screw the lid on tight is at fault. Don’t be lazy?? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ it’s just like having a pop bottle with pop in it and you don’t screw the lid on... it takes 2 seconds to spill it. Just an example but still who wants to clean up a mess when it could take an extra second of your life to screw a lid on.

I say 50/50.... she should have closed container correctly.... he shouldn't pick containers up by the lids.   Lessons learned clean it up and laugh about it later.

I kind of view it as when you go to sit down on the toilet and accidentally fall in. Yes it’s super frustrating and inconsiderate of the person before not to put the seat down but it should kind of be 2nd nature to always check first just in case. There’s no such thing as being too careful and there’s also no such thing as being too busy to take the two seconds to put the seat down or screw the lid on at least half way decently.

If you put the lid, why not just close it? This is actually one of those things for me and my husband!! He lays the lid on, and leaves it? For what?? Why not just screw it on?? But it’s never a problem because I grab the jar like a normal human being... and one time, ONE TIME I was in a rush, baby in hand, needed some salsa for my barely lunch and I placed it on top and didn’t put it in the fridge! He drops it and is immediately mad at me?? I’m was ready to leave him over this 😂😂 he was mad at me but this was the one time I have done this!! And he shattered glass!! Every, single, time he has done it, the worst that happens is I spill some of it and don’t even mention it because in the moment.. sooo idfk

I would have double checked to see if I put the lid on but I also would have checked the lid to make sure its on before picking it up- so both are wrong lol
