Any DC mommas?

Hey ladies! We are taking my kids to Washington dc over spring break.  They will be 8, 5 and 5 months. The baby is breastfed and as of now doesn't take a bottle despite my best efforts so I'm guessing I will be needing to nurse him while we are out and about. Any tips,  tricks, places we must go, suggestions on where to stay. Etc. Also how easy is it to get around on public transportation with a stroller? I also plan on bringing a carrier. Thanks!

I lived in DC before having kids, but saw people bring strollers on the metro all the time. Only thing would be if it’s rush hour definitely skip the stroller and babywear. 
The metro system is pretty good there, I think there’s an app for it too with maps and arrival/departure times. 
Your kids would probably like the National Museum of Natural History, The National Air and Space Museum, and the National Zoo. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is fun too. Plus you definitely want to walk around the National Mall and see the monuments, reflecting pool, Capitol Building, and of course the White House. 
Crystal City might be a good place to stay, the Marriott there is nice and right near a metro stop. If you are flying into Reagan there’s a metro stop right at the airport and Crystal City is just one stop away.
