Should i be worried?

I’m all the way effaced and baby fully engaged but haven’t started dilating. Dr said yesterday cervix is paper thin and very soft feels like a piece of rotten fruit.. since my cervix check yesterday today I’ve been losing bits of my mucus plug today.. haven’t had any contractions really just more uncomfortable in general. I live an hour and 40 minutes from hospital. Should i be worried? I figured i won’t go in until my water breaks or contractions start..

I would just keep an eye on how your feeling. I’m a FTM so I’m not completely sure but it sounds to me like it won’t be too much longer. I live about the same difference away from the hospital that I’m delivering at and my dr told me that if my water breaks to come in right away (don’t speed there but don’t wait around for contractions to start either) or once my contractions are about 10min apart ... I’m obviously not a dr but that’s what I’ve been told to do by mine. I hope that helps a bit, good luck!! 😊🤞
