Should I break up with him?

Hi so me and my bf have been dating for 7 months. I really like him and I know he likes me. The problem is that he does not text me back, and it gets me so fucking mad. For example, today I texted him at 12:00 pm and not it’s 5:00 pm, and he hasn’t texted me back. The thing is that I know that he’s active on insta, he’ll text on group chats on insta that he knows I’m on. In fact he’s active right now. I feel like you should text your girlfriend back right???? He hasn’t read it or anything... a few days ago I texted him at 4 pm and he didn’t text back until 8 am, even though he had exited on a group chat and was active on insta after I texted it to him. Im just really annoyed that he won’t pay attention to my texts, should I break up with him? What do u think?
