Happy tears 😊🥰

I had assumed I wouldn’t have a baby shower this pregnancy for my second baby since my moms side of the family is just tiny. My dad passed away 3 weeks ago and his family is large but I don’t have the closest relationship with them, especially now that he’s gone.

So, the happy part here! My step mom said that she wants to throw me a shower and asked if it’s ok. I said yes but sheepishly that I didn’t know who would show up. She’s taking the reins and says she will round everyone up and it’ll work out :) I’m sure I’ll still be emotional that my dad isn’t here or going to meet his second granddaughter but I am so touched that she’s making such an effort to make me feel loved and included with that side of the family 💜
