Stillbirth
I notice that there is nothing anywhere about this topic. There are sections that address miscarriages, but not stillbirths. I thought this would be the best place to post it. Luckily, this didn't happen to me, but it happened to a close friend of mine last week. It is bothering me so much, I hate that this happened to her and her fiance, who just so happens to b my husband's best friend.
Long story short, She just turned 37 weeks last Saturday when she woke up with cramps. Thinking it was just Braxton hicks, she went about her normal day. Later that afternoon she started bleeding heavy so they went to the hospital. Dr. couldn't find a heartbeat. She had to be induced and her baby was stillborn. Come to find out the placenta had detached from the uterus.
I am 5 months pregnant, and we were supposed to do this together. Figure out this mother life together as we go. I am sure they will get pregnant again and deliver a healthy baby next time, but what about this time? I am so sad and when I found out I cried so hard and long. I just needed to vent, thank you for reading. This is a topic that is not really talked about.
