What should I do?

So, I’ve been getting baby fever like crazy lately. I’ve been really wanting to settle down and have my first kid. However my SO doesn’t want to yet. He thinks waiting is better. Within this last year my great great grandma and my grandma has passed away to cancer. My mom is in la la land due to a head/physiological issue. And I really just want her to meet my first born before she’s too far gone to know who I even am.

I’ve been trying to explain this all to him and it’s just going in one ear and out the other. Am I wrong for wanting to have a kid?
