Waiting impatiently

My husband and I have decided to start trying for our first child. I stopped taking my birth control (which I have been on for about 10 years) on December 6th, I bled on the 9th and 10th of December. I know that was my body reacting to stopping birth control. I’ve done lots of research (I’m just that type of person) so I’ve read that most people take a couple months to get a period after stopping birth control. I am on cycle day 101 no sign of a period at all no symptoms of pregnancy either. I feel like I’m never going to get my period back.
