Folic acid?

Did you take folic acid you're entire pregnancy? Did you forget a lot? Were your babies fine?

Answer

It's only really recommended to take folic acid until you're 12 weeks because your baby has fully formed by this point. It just needs to grow. Some people take it throughout their pregnancy by their own choice. If you forget, it doesn't matter because you can get vitamins from the food that you eat. All the vitamins you take in tablet form do, is make sure you have the daily recommended amount

I didn’t take a prenatal at all with my son. He is 100% happy and healthy at just over 2 years old.

There is folate in my prenatal but I didn’t add folic acid. I just take my prenatal everyday. And my baby is perfectly healthy.
