Don’t know if anyone will come

When I had my first baby I gave all her 0-3 month clothes to a lady who really needed them for her baby girl. Then I found out I was pregnant again. We decided to throw a small simple baby shower to get 0-3 months clothes but all I’ve heard from my family is that they have so many parties this month. They say they’ll come but I don’t think they’ll bring me any gifts because “too many parties, too much money spending on gifts.” My family would really show up without anything. I’m kinda debating about even throwing up and just use that money to buy clothes.
