I want to tell my parents. But not his.
(Crossposted)
Am I the worst? We live in the same city as my folks and see them 1-2 times a week. His parents and sister live out of state and I am not close with them.
I want to tell my parents now (5+3), and his after the first scan in two and a half weeks. I know I will want the support of my family if something goes wrong, and it's both my mom and dads birthday this week. My MIL is a bit of a turd, and I just dont want to answer her questions or hear her feedback.
Is this justifiable? Am I being mean? This is the first grandkid, either side. There will be a LOT of comments and questions and I can manage my own family but not his.
