Early induction question!!!

I am 36 weeks and got a call today that my doc doesn’t want me going past 40 weeks. My baby has renal pelvis dilation. I don’t have much info yet about it but it’s the reason I’m not to go past my due date.

Problem is, my doctor is out the week of my due date. If I want her to deliver baby, I would have to do it at 39 weeks.

I’m afraid to go that early without baby or I actually being ready. This #3 for me. My water broke with my first on my due date and my second I was induced just after my due date for medical reasons but I was already having contractions.

For those who were induced early, do you feel like it would have been better to wait if you had the option?
