2 showers

My Mom doesn’t understand why I’m having two showers. She keeps saying “well things were different in my day. You just had one shower.” It’s not that I want to have two. Im just not going to put the burden on my Aunt of hosting 200 people. Aunt offered to throw a family shower and I made my list over the weekend. It’s 68 people! Now that includes a few close friends of the family, kids and it’s co-ed but still. That’s a lot! I wish my mom would just butt out.

Anyone else doing two because of guest count??

EDIT- I also want to add that I’ve had 10 different people ask to host a shower for me. Friends, family, etc. So the friends shower would be hosted at a different home by a different person.
