Any tips?

I have a toddler that I never breastfed. I was talked out of it because its "easier" than breastfeeding. I tried so hard when we got home from the hospital to breastfeed but I had NO help. I'm due pretty soon and I want to breastfeed, but I'm feeling really discouraged. I have NO support, it's like people would rather talk me out of it then help me.

I did a lot of research online. I have no idea why some people think formula is easier than breastfeeding! Nothing easier than fresh and ready milk you can take everywhere lol

Look for La Leche League meetings near you! They’re free and support you during all stages of breastfeeding. Another option is to find a pediatrician that has a lactation consultant in their practice, but this probably won’t help until after baby is here.

That’s odd. Utilize the lactation consultants at the hospital. Usually you can sched follow up appts after you leave too.

Ask for a lactation consultant in the hospital. My hospital won’t discharge you until one has come and talked to you.
