Convertible seat for small car?

What’s a good convertible car seat to replace my infant car seat in my small sedan? Does it matter? They all look so big in the store! Do you have a must-have feature you look for?

I thought I had this problem and bout a car seat on a whim hoping it would fit. Our convertible though it looks giant takes up LESS room fully reclined than our infant seat. I would just look into seat you like and go from there. Maybe even find the installed measurements of your infant seat to go off of.

The one I have in my Mazda6 looks freaking MASSIVE in the store, but it’s actually one of the smaller seats I’ve had 🙈
I have the Maxi-Cosi 85! I love it and my nieces and nephews love it.

Graco SlimFit! My car is TINY it’s like driving a tonka car around. The slim fit is so easy to use and space saving! The cup holders even collapse if you want it even smaller. Definitely recommend.
