Bled after sex?

I've never had this happen before so I have no clue about it. My husband mentioned that he thought he saw some blood after we had sex this morning. He assumed I'm close to my period and chalked it up to that, when marking sex in my glow that's not the case. I'm actually around 11 days away from my period. We weren't having rough sex or anything out of the norm, when I went to the bathroom afterwards there was blood. I wiped up and blood and then when I looked in the toilet as well and there was a fair amount. Any one else have this happen???
