Help!

So my husband was trying to join the navy but had a sexual assault felony when he was 11.

Now this is stopping him from joining because they are saying they don’t have a waiver for that.

Is there anyone we can call or do? It’s off his record but they said the fbi can still look at it.

My husband was a kid when this happened and he didn’t even do it they made him plead guilty so he wouldn’t be in juvenile longer.

Just asked my husband who's a recruiter but I'd like to point out while I wait that recruiters do everything in their power to have people qualify. They even cut corners sometimes to help ppl out to get in. If they had a way to get around it and have him join they would have.

Just got a reply. Sexual assault charges permanently disqualify applicants. Sorry girl.

My ex had a DUI and it was still extremely hard to get into the Navy, even with a perfect ASVAB score. I’d say it’s unlikely 😕

To be honest. He disclosed that information ( which he should have) but now that they know, hes most likely not getting in the Navy, let alone any branch. Sorry.

Probably nothing you can do but cut your losses. Sorry. If there's waiver there's not much you can do

Your husband was an adolescent when it happened. It's dropped off his record. Pull the records from the court and go to the office and speak with the recruiter. My husband was very recently a recruiter and a Marine also had a sexual assault felony charge from when he was underage. It was dropped and the guy is is the Marines.
