Allergies

My eyes are so swollen, watery, itchy, and I have a little goo coming out of them. It just looks terrible. I know it has to be from the pollen. Does anyone know of anything I can take that is safe and will help my eyes. I called my doctor's office and since I already have an appointment next Tuesday the nurse told me to just wait until then to see what the doctor says but honestly my eyes look like I have been punched in them and it's just really irritating. I dont want to walk around like this for another week. Any suggestions on what I can do/take?? Should I just go to the ER?

*** I have NEVER had allergies before so this is new to me, sorry if I seem dramatic. My eyes are literally just freaking me out.
