Potty training?

Question

Has anyone started potty training? 
I just ordered a potty for my son but don’t know if I should start using it. He can’t tell me when he has to go yet but lately when he’s pooping he points to his butt and as soon as he’s done he gets a diaper or wipe and takes it to me or tries to wipe himself lol. Idk if I should just start sitting him on potty occasionally or what to do. Advice?

My daughter is the same. She comes and gets me and starts walking to her changing table when she has pooped. Before her bath every night she sits on her own potty with no diaper. It’s our routine right now. I give her a little high five and clap and tell her good job. I tell her that’s where we pee pee and poop. She hasn’t done anything in it yet but I feel it’s a good start and I talk to her about what it is and what it’s for.

Yes! We officially started 5 days ago and so far my girl has peed twice on the potty! We do pull-ups during the day. This is Emma showing off her Minnie Mouse sticker she got for peeing in the potty this morning ☺️

Following! Our daughter just started sleeping through the night without wet diapers this week… she’s been going to our hall bath to poop in her diaper for a few months now. (Why is she growing up so quickly?!)

We have a potty in our bathroom and have our girl sit on it when she’s diaper free. She LOVES sitting on it 😂 every time I go, she sit on it, too (clothed, usually). I think when the weather gets warmer I’ll have her in undies outside so if she does pee in them it’s not a big deal
