Trigger warning- possible miscarriage

Found out yesterday that I’m 9weeks pregnant but started bleeding at about midnight. Was only light bleeding so thought could be spotting.. woke up this morning to it being bright red and heavier, slight cramping. Been to hospital today and they said it could possibly be a miscarriage but won’t find out until tomorrow when I get a scan. Has anyone else experienced the same and everything has been fine? I can’t stop thinking about it and worrying🙄😢
